To the Hartkemeier Family,

I learned of your loss from my sister Sarah (David's wife) as I was traveling back to Texas following our uncle's funeral. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and prayers as you go through what may be some trying times.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Hartkemeier during the time leading up to Sarah and David's wedding. I remember him being a gracious man with a strong character and took away great memories of that time with him and his family. Since then, my wife and I have enjoyed knowing David through the years. His goodness and strength are a testament to Mr. Hartkemeier's influence.

My wife and I pray that good memories will remain for you and that God will grant you His peace at this and all times.
