Carol Jean Ransick (nee Swisshelm), age 78 years, passed away at Wellspring Health Center on Wednesday morning January 13, 2010. Carol was instrumental in formation of The Cincinnati Recreation Women’s Golf Assn (CRWGA). She was elected Golfer of The Year 1981 and was a USGA Rules Official. Beloved wife of Lee Ransick for 57 years. Mother of Barry Ransick. Sister of Barbara Jane Doyle & Robert Swisshelm. Grandmother of Jereme Ransick & Emilie Butler, Great grandmother of Auggie & Addie Ransick, and Trey & Mason Butler. Friends may call at Miller-Busse & Borgmann Funeral Home, 3464 Central Parkway at Clifton Hills, Clifton, Friday January 15, 2010 from 12:30 PM until time of funeral service at 2 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
