JoAnn Day (nee Thomas) age 76 years, passed away at Emeritus Senior Living at Long Cove Point in Mason, Ohio on Friday evening, April 13, 2012. JoAnn was a very active member in Matthew United Church of Christ in Winton Place, serving as the church secretary and as a member of Parish Council and Women's Guild and was always involved in the annual Sauerkraut Supper and Apple Pie Sale. JoAnn loved to bake for her family, especially her famous pumpkin pies and enjoyed crafting and many different types of needlework, including sewing, quilting and crochet. JoAnn was an avid reader and enjoyed researching genealogy. She will be missed by her family and many dear friends. Beloved wife of the late Robert Morris Day, Sr. Dear mother of Robert (Carolyn) Day, Robin (Douglas) Roberts, Denise (Matthew) Hogeback and Kevin (Mechell) Day. Loving grandmother of Anthony (Aundrea) Day, Charles and Justin Day, Amanda Roberts, Ashley (Kyle) Day, Alicia (Matt) Marquet, David and Troy Hogeback, Sean and Alyssa Day, Brittani DeShawn, Davon (Ashley) Moser and great grandmother of Lourdes, Gabriella, Robert Rhett and Rowan Day, Wyatt and Owen Marquet and Davon Moser, Jr. Dear sister of D. Roger Thomas, Donna Jeanne Kelly, Paul (the late Geri) Thomas and Pamela (Ken) Hamilton.
